Automotive line certified to IATF 16949

Certification closes the last gap that kept the plant off tier-one bid lists.

The automotive extrusion and machining line was certified to IATF 16949 in July after a fourteen-month programme.

The standard is less about the parts than about being able to prove what happened to them. Most of the work was traceability and change control: a die correction now generates a record that ties to every billet drawn after it.

Certification does not win programmes on its own. It removes the reason a tier-one buyer stops reading at the first page, which had been the practical position until now.
